Sobbing into my hoodie in her couch in Denver I said, “I hate my body. And my body hates me. My body is my biggest enemy.”

With her usual kind-hearted patience Carolyn said, “I think I have the opposite experience. When I feel really sick, I feel extremely aware of how hard my body is working, how hard it is fighting to keep me alive. On my worst days I feel so much love and gratitude for each and every cell of my body working to pull me through.”

amelie-liedtome asked me to do the 6 selfie thing and I’ve kinda cheated by including not selfie pics but what can I say, I’m a maverick

jaclcfrost:

what you said was very sweet and means a lot to me but i am incapable of properly responding in any way besides “thank you so much aaaah” because i do not know how to accurately express the exact level of my gratitude to where you completely understand how much what you said meant to me without me getting even more emotional and looking like a fucking nerd: an autobiography

You’re a real charmer

Your picture is you holding your tits…what the fuck else do you expect. “Hi lovely, I’d be delighted to be charmed by your wit.”

This ain’t fucking 1300’s Britain.

She’s actually a really nice person, and she’s just handling the rude anon like she would any other. No big deal, really.

"Rude".

OK, just because the compliment doesn’t fit your specific “structure of a compliment”, it’s still a mother fucking compliment. He was saying something positive about her, thus a fucking compliment. Compliments aren’t rude. x) They can be CRUDE and need work done to be “pleasant”. But they’re not rude.

"Dur I have a pic of me holding my tits on a website notorious for porn but lemme get all pissed off someone said anything when I willingly put it in their faces" this is what I call bait and switch sexual harassment. Don’t want people to comment then don’t post pictures. Not even that hard.

Her name is ‘cuntheory’ and her avatar is that of her (or at least some other woman) holding her naked boobs. That’s pretty much all you need to assume a blog on here is a porn blog or at least something similar.

Imma respectfully disagree with you on this point, Drej: the fact that it is a porn blog, a selfie blog, a nude model blog, or a sex worker blog, don’t mean they are not entitled to basic ass respect. Be it naked on your blog, on the beach or clothed in the street, it is the same deal: it doesn’t mean we have to accept random people coming up to us with “Nice tits”, even if it is mean “as a compliment”; it is pretty rude and inconsiderate from a stranger. Some blog are okay with it, but you can generally see how the blog owner will handle it through previous asks. Otherwise, keep it respectful.
